Archer Midnight eVTOL

Archer Aviation continues to achieve notable progress in the flight-testing regime for its Midnight eVTOL. It has conducted a series of evaluations that underscore the aircraft’s operational readiness for real-world aviation scenarios.

Most recently, the Midnight aircraft captivated an estimated audience of 50,000 aviation enthusiasts and professionals during a showcase at the California International Airshow.

Building on this momentum, Archer’s Midnight has successfully completed a series of groundbreaking piloted performance test flights, including what stands as its longest endurance mission to date. It covered approximately 55 miles in just 31 minutes, achieving a maximum altitude of 10,000 feet, representing the highest point reached in its certification program thus far.

These accomplishments validate the aircraft’s exceptional range, climb performance, and overall aerodynamic efficiency, critical attributes for seamless integration into Korea’s dense urban airspace.

Designed as a fully piloted eVTOL aircraft, Archer’s Midnight accommodates four passengers alongside the pilot.

This versatile platform holds the transformative potential to supplant traditional 60–90-minute ground commutes by automobile with efficient 10–20-minute electric air taxi flights.
